Established in 1952, the Day Care Council of New York is a diverse membership organization of child care and family service providers, consumers and advocates.
The Council’s mission is to seek support for and to assist in the development of quality child and family care service. The organization works with its member agencies and others to maintain high standards of early childhood developmental, educational and social services. The Council’s programs include CCR&R, the Family Support Program (child welfare preventive services), the James C. Hall Family Child Care Network, Labor Relations and Mediation, the Early Childhood Training Institute, and the Board Development and Technical Assistance program.
